Sonnet 1I cannot bear this world any longer, I wish that all would fade gently away, The shadows I flee grow ever stronger, I fear no longer will they stay at bay. Despite all my triumphs the light grows dim, It fades now into only a dull grey. Though I try to escape the chance is slim, I try, I try, but cannot get away. By challenges always am I beset, With mind in hand I set out undeterred, Only to find my world shattered again. I try though I fail to pay off my debt, My forces beaten, my mind then interred, They leave, till next time, I ask only, "When?"Sonnet 1

A Way HomeDarkness sits over the city Endless restlessness fills the air A dream once had, now long forgotten How long must they share all this pain? They seek their way They find their way homeA Way Home
Even in the night, no one is free They fight against their wakeful sleep Even in winning, they succeed in loss How long must we share all this pain? And now...
Why can't it be? Why do our dreams end so soon? How short our innocence in these new times We separate ourselves, separate ourselves For something new New new new(old)
It's all the same &n
